Countess of Sussex * British Pavilion Opening | On July 25, 2024, Gwen, the Countess of Sussex and Kyle, the Earl of Sussex participated in the opening of the British pavilion at the GB House at the Pavillon D’Armenonville in Paris. The Countess and Earl then attended the IOC and Elysee Dinner at the Louvre. The Countess and Earl will attend the opening ceremony of the 33rd edition of the Olympic Games on July 26. GB is represented by 327 athletes across 20 different sports.

Countess of Sussex * Strathcarron Hospice | On November 1, 2024, Princess Gwen, the Countess of Sussex, visited Strathcarron Hospice in Fankerton, Scotland, to speak with staff, volunteers, supporters, and patients. As part of her visit, the Princess was given a presentation by staff on the Hospice’s two ongoing projects in partnership with Glenochil Prison, focusing on frailty and bereavement.

Countess of Sussex * Homecoming Parade Picton | On October 4, 2024, the Countess of Sussex, in her role as the Colonel of the 5th Battalion, presided over a homecoming parade for the 5th Battalion of The Rifles in Bulford, following a six-month deployment in Estonia. During the event, the Countess inspected the Guard of Honour, delivered a speech, and chatted with members of the soldiers' families. After their deployment, 5 Rifles celebrated their return with a parade at Picton Barracks, attended by the Countess of Sussex and other distinguished guests.

Countess of Sussex * Together at Christmas | On December 6, the Duchess of York hosted the annual 'Together at Christmas' carol service at Westminster Abbey. The Duke attended the service alongside his children, Princess Flora, and Prince Arlo, to support his wife, the Princess of Wales. Spearheaded by the Princess and supported by the Royal Foundation, the service honors the selfless efforts of individuals, families, and communities across the UK. King George and Queen Lucille, along with their children, Prince Nicolas, Princess Victoria, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The Countess of Sussex, along with two of her children, Viscount Andrew and Lady Bella, and other members of the Royal Family.

Countess of Sussex * Diplomatic Corps Reception | On November 19, 2024, King George and Queen Lucille, accompanied by the Countess of Sussex, held a reception at Buckingham Palace for the Diplomatic Corps. During the reception, the King and Queen welcomed more than 500 diplomats. The guest list included all ambassadors and High Commissioners from foreign missions based in London, former Prime Ministers, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, and other notable public figures.

Countess of Sussex * Royal Ascot Ladies Day | On June 20, 2024, King George, Queen Lucille, Princess Gwen, and other members of the Royal family attended Ladies Day on the third day of Royal Ascot 2024 at Royal Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire. Royal Ascot started on Tuesday with the Queen Anne Stakes and will run until Saturday.
