Challenge to Oneself | There have been times in my life where I got so angry, confused, or panicked. I had to put down my defenses, take a deep breath, and challenge myself to get past my initial feelings and biases. I learned to lean in despite my shock. You don't have to agree with everyone; this brings peace. The Quran states there is no compulsion in religion (2:256) and “for you is your religion and for me is my religion” (109:6). It taught me self-discipline, self-defense, and true tolerance. Yesterday’s enemies could be tomorrow’s friends (60:7).

Christmas | Christmas, sometimes abbreviated as Xmas, is an aesthetic directly tied to the holiday of the same name. It is no longer strictly tied to any religion or imagery as its imagery continues to evolve, though Jesus, Santa, red, green, and gold are predominant in most places.
