Countess of Sussex * State Banquet for Qatar | The Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, accompanied by Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad, is visiting the UK for a State Visit at the invitation of King George. In the evening, King George and Queen Lucille hosted a State Banquet at Buckingham Palace for the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, Sheikha Jawaher, and approximately 150 guests in the Ballroom. King George and Queen Lucille were accompanied by the Countess and Earl of Sussex and other members of the Royal family.

Countess of Sussex * Welcoming the Emir of Qatar | Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, is making a two-day State Visit to the United Kingdom. The Countess and Earl of Sussex welcomed Sheikh Tamim and Sheikha Jawaher earlier in the day.

Queen Lucille * Private Lunch w/ the Emir of Qatar | Following the greeting of the Countess and Earl of Sussex, the Emir of Qatar and His Wife, along with the royal couple, traveled to Horse Guards Parade for the Ceremonial Welcome where he was formally received by King George and Queen Lucille. Afterwards the couples headed to Buckingham Palace, where The King and Queen showed the Emir of Qatar and his wife the Royal Collection at the King's Gallery in Buckingham Palace.

Queen Lucille * Gallery of the Royal Collections | On June 19, 2024, The Royal family celebrated the 5th anniversary of King George VII's proclamation. In the evening, the King George's oldest children, Prince Nicolas and Princess Victoria visited the Royal Collections Gallery along with 40 young people from different parts of the UK. King George and Queen Lucille accompanied their children, on the gallery visit.

Countess of Sussex * Arrival of Japanese Royals | Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan are making a 3-day State Visit to the UK as guests of King George and Queen Lucille. The Duke of York and Princess Gwen welcomed Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako at their hotel in London. Then, the Emperor and Empress were welcomed by the King and Queen in the Royal Pavilion. Following a lunch at Buckingham Palace, the Emperor and Empress visited a special exhibition in the Picture Gallery of items from the Royal Collection relating to Japan.

Countess of Sussex * Diplomatic Corps Reception | On November 19, 2024, King George and Queen Lucille, accompanied by the Countess of Sussex, held a reception at Buckingham Palace for the Diplomatic Corps. During the reception, the King and Queen welcomed more than 500 diplomats. The guest list included all ambassadors and High Commissioners from foreign missions based in London, former Prime Ministers, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, and other notable public figures.

Countess of Sussex * Festival of Remembrance | Every year, the Royal British Legion’s Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall honors the service and sacrifices of the British and Commonwealth Armed Forces community. On November 9, 2024, George, Queen Lucille, the Duke and Duchess of York, the Countess and Earl of Sussex, and other members of the Royal family attended the Festival of Remembrance.

Countess of Sussex * Royal Ascot Ladies Day | On June 20, 2024, King George, Queen Lucille, Princess Gwen, and other members of the Royal family attended Ladies Day on the third day of Royal Ascot 2024 at Royal Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire. Royal Ascot started on Tuesday with the Queen Anne Stakes and will run until Saturday.
