Queen Lucille * Visiting the Duchess of York | King George and Queen Lucille have visited Madison, the Duchess of York this morning. King George was photographed arriving with Queen Lucille at the London Clinic.

Queen Lucille * Sunday service in Sandringham | On February 4, 2024, King George and Queen Lucille attended the Sunday service at the Church of St Mary Magdalene in Sandringham.

Queen Lucille * St Mary Magdalene Church | On February 11, King George, Queen Lucille, and their children attended a service at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

Queen Lucille * Memorial for King Constantine II | On February 27, a service of thanksgiving for the life of King Constantine II of Greece was held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. King George, Queen Lucille, Princess Gwen, the Duke of York and other members of the Greek royal family attended this special memorial service for King Constantine. Other members of other Royal Families attended the service. King Constantine, who was the last King of Greece, passed away at the age of 82 in January last year. He was also a close friend of his second cousin King George.

Queen Lucille * Meeting w/ Olena Zelenska | On February 29, 2024, King George and Queen Lucille received the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska at Clarence House in London. As part of her visit to the UK made to attend the Global Soft Power Summit, Olena Zelenska met with Queen Lucille. The Ukrainian President's wife Olena Zelenska thanked Queen Lucille and King George for their consistent support to Ukraine and for sheltering 200 thousand Ukrainian migrants in the UK.

Queen Lucille * Northern Ireland Day One | King George and Queen Lucille are paying a two-day visit to Northern Ireland. Their Majesties first arrived in Belfast and visited three well-known small Northern Irish businesses, namely, Coffey’s Butchers, Arcadia Delicatessen and Knotts Craft Bakery. The King and Queen then visited The Rifles at Thiepval Barracks in Lisburn. The King and Queen then moved to Hillsborough Castle, and there, she received the Secretary of State, the First Minister and deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland. George and Lucille was then greeted by a selection of performers for a Queen’s Reading Room recital. The event was held in collaboration between the QRR and the Arts Council Northern Ireland.

Queen Lucille * Douglas Borough Council | On March 20, 2024, King George and Queen Lucille visited the Isle of Man to officially confer city status on Douglas. Douglas was named a city in May 2022, one of eight communities in the British Isles to receive the honour.

Queen Lucille * Shrewsbury Farmers’ Market | On March 27, 2024, King George and Queen Lucille visited Shrewsbury Farmers’ Market in Shropshire. There, the King and Queen met with traders and customers. They then visited the recently restored Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings, before meeting with local volunteer groups including the Shrewsbury Food Hub, Shrewsbury Interfaith forum, Save our Shropshire and Shropshire Supports Refugees.

The black and white photo was taken earlier this year by fashion and portrait photographer Josh Shinner, and shows the King and Queen and their five children Prince Nicolas, Princess Victoria, Princess Lizabeth, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
