Duchess of York * The Queen's Dragoon Guards | The Duchess of York visited 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards (QDG) in Norfolk for the first time as Colonel-in-Chief of the regiment. The Duchess was appointed as Colonel-in-Chief by King George in August. During her visit, the Duchess received a briefing about the regiment from senior officers. The Duchess also met families of QDG personnel, and spoke with them about their experiences and the welfare support that is offered by the regiment.

Duchess of York * Royal Christmas Service | On the 25th of December, The Duke and Duchess of York celebrated Christmas with the Royal Family at Sandringham and started their day by attending the traditional Christmas service at St. Mary Magadelene's Church on the King's estate. They were joined by Princess Flora and Prince Arlo for the walk to the church on the Queen's estate.

This year's Festival marked 80 years since The Battle of the Atlantic and the 70th anniversary of the Korean War. King George and Queen Lucille were joined by the Duke and Duchess of York and other members of the Royal Family. The Kings Cousins, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent, were also among the guests.

Queen Lucille * Memorial for King Constantine II | On February 27, a service of thanksgiving for the life of King Constantine II of Greece was held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. King George, Queen Lucille, Princess Gwen, the Duke of York and other members of the Greek royal family attended this special memorial service for King Constantine. Other members of other Royal Families attended the service. King Constantine, who was the last King of Greece, passed away at the age of 82 in January last year. He was also a close friend of his second cousin King George.

Hosted by King George, the annual white-tie soirée is one of the most formal events on the royal calendar. Duchess of York * Moray and Inverness | On November 2, The Duke and Duchess of York, who are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, visited Moray and Inverness in Scotland to meet organisations supporting rural communities and those working provide mental health support to young people through access to the outdoors and practical learning. Rupert and Madison first visited Outfit Moray, an award-winning charity delivering life-changing outdoor learning and adventure activity programmes for young people in the area. The Duke and Duchess then visited Brodieshill Farm where they met members of the Lower Speyside Young Farmers group and representatives from Farmstrong Scotland.
