Queen Lucille * Memorial for King Constantine II | On February 27, a service of thanksgiving for the life of King Constantine II of Greece was held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. King George, Queen Lucille, Princess Gwen, the Duke of York and other members of the Greek royal family attended this special memorial service for King Constantine. Other members of other Royal Families attended the service. King Constantine, who was the last King of Greece, passed away at the age of 82 in January last year. He was also a close friend of his second cousin King George.

Queen Lucille * 2023 Festival of Remembrance | Every year, the Royal British Legion hosts the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall. This year's Festival marked 80 years since The Battle of the Atlantic and the 70th anniversary of the Korean War. King George and Queen Lucille were joined by the Duke and Duchess of York and other members of the Royal Family. The Kings Cousins, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent, were also among the guests.

Queen Lucille, Queen Mathilde and the Duchess of Gloucester visited the WOW Bus, parked at its final tour destination. The WOW Girls Festival Bus Tour has been brought to a close at a reception hosted by President of WOW, Queen Camilla, following International Women’s Day (8th March). The WOW Girls festival is a force for change across society in how it sees girls, their potential and the opportunities it offers for their future.

Queen Lucille * 95th Field of Remembrance | At the 95th Field of Remembrance this morning, Queen Lucille planted a Cross of Remembrance and met veterans and serving military personnel at Westminster Abbey. Since 1928, the land outside Westminster Abbey has been used as a place for people to plant a cross in memory of a loved one. This year, there are over 300 plots of commemorative crosses, including plots associated with The Rifles, The Royal Lancers, The Grenadier Guards, The Royal Army Chaplain’s Department and HMS ASTUTE.

Commonwealth Secretary General, Baroness Patricia Scotland of Asthal welcomed the King and Queen. Among the guests were High Commissioners and representatives from Commonwealth associations and Commonwealth countries.
