Princess Gwen * Abbey Road Studios Reception | On April 24, 2024, Princess Gwen, The Countess of Sussex, representing the Duchess of York as Global Ambassador for the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, attended the Orbis Visionaries reception at Abbey Road Studios. The purpose of Orbis is to 'transform lives through the prevention and treatment of blindness'. Gwen attended a reception that took place at the historic musical venue, where the Beatles used to record their music.

Countess of Sussex * FTA Dinner | On June 17, 2024, Princess Gwen, Countess of Sussex attended the Fashion Trust Arabia dinner in celebration of the 2023 FTA Prize winners at Claridge's Hotel in London. The Fashion Trust Arabia, also known as FTA, provides financial and business support for designers from the Middle East and North Africa. Each year, the organization selects six fashion designers to honor with its support. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser is the Honorary Chair of FTA.

Countess of Sussex * BAFTA's | Princess Gwen, the Countess of Sussex joined Prince Rupert on the red carpet this evening for the British Academy Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards ceremony at Royal Albert Hall in London. Prince Rupert has been president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts since 2018, and he regularly attends the annual awards.

Countess of Sussex * Heathrow Airport | Princess Gwen, Countess of Sussex, was seen waiting for her children and husband at London's Heathrow airport. Her children and husband are spending the week in the UK, to spend the Easter holiday together.

Countess of Sussex * Elephant Family's event | Princess Gwen attended the charity Elephant Family's event in Sloane Square. There, for school children, the Princess read out the classic tale of Elmer the Patchwork Elephant by David McKee to mark the launch of the Elephant Family charity's Little Egg Hunt. The event involved an interactive large-scale egg hunt, with pieces designed by 12 leading designers. The Little Egg Hunt has returned to Chelsea after a ten-year hiatus and features egg-shaped sculptures designed by some notable names, including Anya Hindmarch and Philip Colbert. Elephant Family was founded by Mark Shand in 2003 and works to protect the Asian elephant from extinction.

Countess of Sussex * National Cycling Centre | On February 23, Princess Gwen, the Countess of Sussex, on behalf of the Duchess of York, attended the opening day of The British Cycling National Track Championships held at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester. The Princess tried adaptive cycling. Run by British Cycling, the centre provides cycling opportunities for disabled people, regardless of age, impairment and ability. During the visit, Princess Gwen met with volunteers from the disability and para-cycling programme The Limitless, and presented jerseys to the newly-crowned national champions. The Duchess of York is Patron of The British Cycling Federation.

Countess of Sussex * The Forgotten War Anniversary | Princess Gwen hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace on behalf of King George to commemorate the anniversary of "the Forgotten War". The Princess welcomed representatives from the Korean embassy and the Royal British Legion, with some 200 Korean war veterans in the palace's Bow Room.

Countess of Sussex * Surrey History Centre | On January 31, the Countess of Sussex, on behalf of the Duchess of York, paid a visit to The Lighthouse in Woking. There, the Countess met with volunteers and local people supported by The Lighthouse. Afterwards, the Duchess visited Surrey History Centre in Woking. The Countess toured the Centre’s extensive heritage services and spoke with the staff and volunteers. Princess Gwen saw the Centre’s collections, including a signed letter by Lady Jane Grey, a Tudor swan roll, photographs and papers relating to the Surrey regiments on the Western Front, early Surrey maps and a rare 18th century handwritten Qur’an.
