Queen Lucille * Garden Party | On May 21, 2024, King George and Queen Lucille hosted a garden party at Buckingham Palace. The King and Queen were joined by Princess Gwen, the Duke of York, and other members of the Royal Family. The Garden Parties are an annual royal family tradition.

Each summer, guests who have made a positive impact in their community are invited to spend a relaxed afternoon in the beautiful gardens of Buckingham Palace.

Queen Lucille * Scottish Garden Party | On July 2, 2024, King George and Queen Lucille hosted a garden party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the monarchy's official residence in Scotland. The garden party followed King George's official welcome to Scotland during the Ceremony of the Keys, before he hosted an investiture. Nearly 8,000 Scots attended the garden party. A garden party is held each year at the Palace of Holyroodhouse to thank extraordinary individuals from across Scotland who have made significant social contributions to the country.

Queen Lucille * Gallery of the Royal Collections | On June 19, 2024, The Royal family celebrated the 5th anniversary of King George VII's proclamation. In the evening, the King George's oldest children, Prince Nicolas and Princess Victoria visited the Royal Collections Gallery along with 40 young people from different parts of the UK. King George and Queen Lucille accompanied their children, on the gallery visit.

Queen Lucille * Garden Party 2 | On May 15, 2024, King George and Queen Lucille, accompanied by The Duke of York, hosted a special Garden Party at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Creative Industries. The event, hosted in collaboration with UK Government Department for Culture, Media and Sport, around 4,000 guests were invited from the worlds of art, heritage, film, music, broadcasting and fashion.

Queen Lucille * Shrewsbury Farmers’ Market | On March 27, 2024, King George and Queen Lucille visited Shrewsbury Farmers’ Market in Shropshire. There, the King and Queen met with traders and customers. They then visited the recently restored Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings, before meeting with local volunteer groups including the Shrewsbury Food Hub, Shrewsbury Interfaith forum, Save our Shropshire and Shropshire Supports Refugees.

Queen Lucille * Arrival for Paris Olympics | Queen Lucille arrived in Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games. On Saturday, the Queen met with Menna Rawlings, Ambassador to France and Monaco.

Queen Lucille * D-Day Commemorative Event | On June 5, 2024, King George, Queen Lucille, and The Duke of York attended a commemorative event for the 80th anniversary of D-Day, in Portsmouth. King George and Queen Lucille lead the commemorative events in Portsmouth ahead of the actual 80th Anniversary of D-Day on June 6th. Portsmouth was where tens of thousands of troops set off to Normandy to participate in Operation Overlord.
