Countess of Sussex * The Forgotten War Anniversary | Princess Gwen hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace on behalf of King George to commemorate the anniversary of "the Forgotten War". The Princess welcomed representatives from the Korean embassy and the Royal British Legion, with some 200 Korean war veterans in the palace's Bow Room.

Queen Lucille * Royal Maundy Service | On March 28, 2024, King George and Queen Lucille attended 2024 Royal Maundy service held at Worcester Cathedral in Worcester. Maundy is a holy Christian day which is celebrated every Thursday before the Easter. The King presented Maundy Money to 75 men and 75 women in Worcester Cathedral in recognition of service to their local communities. The tradition of the Monarch or their representative presenting alms on Maundy Thursday goes back to 1213.

Queen Lucille * Holocaust Remembrance Day | On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, King George and Queen Lucille attended a memorial ceremony for Holocaust victims that took place at Royal Albert Hall on January 27, 2024. The event was organized by the Living History Forum. International Holocaust Remembrance Day is an international memorial day on January 27 and commemorates the tragedy of the Holocaust that occurred during the World War II.

Queen Lucille * Royal Windsor Horse Show Day 1 | Queen Lucille attended the first day of the Royal Windsor Horse Show 2024 at the Castle Arena in Windsor, Berkshire. Royal Windsor Horse Show is UK’s largest outdoor horse show which takes place on the private grounds of Windsor Castle. Queen is Vice President of the Royal Windsor Horse Show. The Royal Windsor Horse Show is a horse show held annually since 1943 for five days in May or June in Windsor.

Queen Lucille * Christmas service at Sandringham | On the 25th of December, King George, Queen Lucille, and their five children celebrated Christmas at Sandringham and started their day by attending the traditional service at St. Mary Magadelene's Church. Following the yuletide service, the royals chatted with well-wishers who had gathered outside the church to catch a glimpse of the royal family.

Queen Lucille * The Queen’s Anniversary Prizes | On February 22, 2024, Queen Lucille and King George handed out The Queen's Anniversary Prizes for Higher and Further Education at Buckingham Palace in London. This year’s awardees are an animal welfare initiative, a pioneering chemistry research and a project aiming to encourage young people aged between 16 and 18 to remain in education. The Queen’s Anniversary Prizes are presented to honor outstanding projects and initiatives that have been created and carried out by UK colleges and universities. These must show quality and innovation, and deliver real benefit to the world and public through education and training.

Queen Lucille * 2024 Easter Service at Windsor | On, Sunday, March 31, 2024, King George, Queen Lucille, their children, and other members of the Royal Family attended the Easter Matins Service at St. George's Chapel in Windsor. The Duke and Duchess of York did not attend, as Madison continues her cancer treatment.

Queen Lucille * Memorial for King Constantine II | On February 27, a service of thanksgiving for the life of King Constantine II of Greece was held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. King George, Queen Lucille, Princess Gwen, the Duke of York and other members of the Greek royal family attended this special memorial service for King Constantine. Other members of other Royal Families attended the service. King Constantine, who was the last King of Greece, passed away at the age of 82 in January last year. He was also a close friend of his second cousin King George.
