Queen Lucile * 90th anniversary of Brooke | On May 9, Queen Lucille hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace to mark 90 years of the charity’s work of bringing hope to working horses, donkeys, and mules. Brooke, founded in the early 1930s, is a UK-based international working horse and donkey charity, which is also a legacy of the WWI.
Later on, Queen Lucille visited the Royal London Hospital to mark Nurses Day. The Queen is Patron of Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity.
